Here is a simple TV transmitter. The circuit is simple and really quite crude, but it does include MONO sound. I have not shown the two regulators in the drawing. These are one 12v DC 1A series regulator chip, and one 8v DC 1A series regulator. I fed the 8v regulator from the output of the 12v regulator. The rest of the circuit looks like figure above.source

100mW TV TRANSMITTER
FM Transmitter with Op-amp LM358
L1 is 0.112uH (this tunes to the middle of the FM band, 98 MHz, with VC1 at its centre value of 33pF). L1 is 5 turns of 22 swg enamelled copper wire close-wound on a 5mm (3/16″) diameter former. Alternatively, you can have a fixed 33pF cap instead of VC1 and have L1 as an adjustable molded coil (eg UF64U from Maplin). VC1 will give you a tuning range of 85 – 125 MHz, and a possible choice is the Philips type polypropylene film trimmer (Maplin code WL72P). source
SINGLE FET VHF (88-108 MHz) FM WIRELESS MIC
The circuit shown depicts a wide band FM wireless microphone. Its power and range are similar to the commonly known circuits, which use bipolar transistors. One gate circuit of the MOSFET is a self excited RF oscillator, and the other gate circuit acts to bias the device and also as a microphone pre-amp and modulator.Tuning can be effected by making Ct a trimmer/padder capacitor, or alternatively if this is a fixed value, then expanding compressing the coil should give some variation in frequency. source
Super regenerative receiver
This is a simple RF receiver mainly for low-distance digital radio receiver application. The analog output of this circuit should be connected to a schmitt-trigger signal conditioning circuit with a proper value capacitor (from collector of T3). L1 for 27Mhz is about 10 turns, 6 mm diameter coil body.source
FM Telephone Bug
Here is a simple transmitter that when connected to a phone line, will transmit anything on that line (execpt the dial tone) to any FM radio. The frequency can be tuned from 88 to about 94Mhz and the range is about 200 feet. It is extremely easy to build and is therefore a good, useful beginner project.source
