DTMF Decoder is a very easy to use program to decode DTMF dial tones found on telephone lines with touch tone phones. DTMF Decoder is also used for receiving data transmissions over the air in amateur radio frequency bands.
“Live” tone signals are fed from telephone line or radio into soundcard of computer. Either line- or microphone input jack is used. It is highly recommended to ensure galvanic decoupling between PC and telephone line or radio receiver. DTMF Decoder output is clear text consisting of the symbols. An exact log is displayed; when, which number was dialled. This log is automatically stored into a log file for later exploration.source

PPOSC – Parallel Port Oscilloscope
PPOSC is a program which runs on plain DOS. It collects information from the machine’s parallel port as fast as possible, and displays it like some oscilloscope. You can use PPOSC to monitor other parallel ports, as well as monitor any other signal which can be interpreted digitally, that is, there is only an “ON” and an “OFF” state. Anyway, you might need some interface hardware to be able to connect your parallel port to another device.
Supported operating systems
To be able to collect data, PPOSC runs on plain DOS only. No DOS extenders, DOS box of Windows (or Linux), or other hardware virtualization (VMWare or Virtual PC come to mind) or allowed, either. That’s because PPOSC needs the timing as correct as possible, and these virtualizations would break this requirement.Anyway, for having a look at the collected data, you can use any suitable DOS box. That is, the DOS box of Windows NT, 2000 or XP are as good as the DOS box of Linux might be.source
Code Generator for Basic Stamp II Microcontroller

The Basic II Stamp is programmed by the language its named after, Basic. The language is a combination of Basic syntax and built in key words that control the Basic Stamp II chip. The stamp can be programmed for several functions including making pins go high or low, reading the input of a pin, sending pulses, reading or writing the serial port, playing a frequency, timing, and much more.We can use the power of C# and .NET to create a code generator that generates a state engine for the BASIC STAMP from a state diagram in WithClass. Because WithClass is basically a COM Server, by creating a reference to WithClass in the Solution Explorer, we can reference the WithClass state model and all its contents from within our .NET project. Then, we simply milk the information out of the model and use the .NET System.IO namespace to write the information to a bs2 (Basic Stamp II) code file. This is a nice article written by Michael Gold who is President of Microgold Software Inc., makers of the WithClass UML Tool. His company is a Microsoft VBA Partner and Borland Partner. source
